Poster with the front page from the newspaper Idun. The 1921 election was the first in which women were allowed to vote, and the first in which women were elected to the Riksdag. This was the result of a long struggle for equal voting rights, and where Sweden was significantly later than its neighboring countries in allowing women to vote. When the new Riksdag took office in January 1922, the newspaper Idun could proudly display the first five Riksdag women on its front page: Elisabeth Tamm, Nelly Thüring, Bertha Wellin, Agda Östlund and Kertin Hesselgren.

About the product

Our printing paper comes from one of the world's leading manufacturers – Hahnemühle. We have chosen a matte paper of 200g per square meter, which has a structure and warm tone that gives the motifs a fantastic reproduction.

Please note that since the ratio between length and width differs depending on the size you choose, the motifs are cropped slightly differently.

Frames are not included with the posters and must be purchased separately.
