The archive complies with all laws and regulations that apply to personal data protection. This policy that you are reading right now helps you, among other things. to understand what kind of information the Archive collects and how it is used. What data do we process, what is it used for and on what basis?

to be able to handle your orders and purchases, the Archive needs to process this information about you;

  • Name
  • Address, telephone number and e-mail
  • Social security number (for certain payment options)
  • Payment information and payment history
  • Information about your order (e.g. order number, product, delivery address and invoice)

This makes the Archive with the legal basis fulfillment of the purchase agreement; without this information, the Archive cannot fulfill its contract with you. The information is saved by the Archive for 36 months from the time delivery and payment have taken place in order to help you with any complaints and warranty matters. 

In order for the Archive to be able to comply with the laws and regulations that apply to us, the Archive must process this information about you;

  • Name
  • Address
  • Payment information and payment history
  • Information about your order (e.g. order number, product and delivery address)

This makes the Archive with the legal basis a legal obligation, which means that the Archive must handle the data in order to comply with the laws to which the Archive is subject. An example is the Accounting Act, and therefore the Archive stores this information with limited access for 7 years + the current year. This information will therefore not be available for, for example, customer service.

In order for the Archive to be able to offer a customer service to you, the Archive needs to process this information about you;

  • Name
  • Phone number and email
  • Social security number (for certain payment options)
  • Payment information and payment history
  • Information about your order (e.g. order number, product, delivery address and invoice)
  • Information that you provide yourself in your communication with us

The Archive does this on the legal basis that the processing is necessary to satisfy the Archive's and your legitimate interest in being able to answer questions from you. The archive saves the information for 14 months from the end of the customer service case.

In order to offer you a personalized website that gives you the best possible shopping experience and provides you with more relevant product displays and recommendations, the Archive processes this information about you;

  • IP
  • Data collected from cookies and the like, for example which products you clicked on and your shopping history

This data then analyzes the Archive, and then gives you suggestions for other products you might like on the website. The Archive does this on the legal basis that the processing is necessary to satisfy the company's legitimate interest in providing you with as good and adapted a website as possible. The archive saves such data for a maximum of one year from your last activity. If you want the Archive to delete this data, you can contact us at any time and the Archive will do so. 

In order to be able to market ourselves to you and show products and offers both on the website and through partners, the Archive handles this information about you;

  • IP
  • Data collected from cookies and the like, for example which products you clicked on pages you visited
  • Order number

The Archive does this on the legal basis that the processing is necessary to satisfy the Archive's legitimate interest in marketing products to you up to one year after your last activity on the website. In order to be able to send you newsletters or give you various offers, the Archive needs to process this information about you;

  • Name
  • Address, telephone number and e-mail
  • Information you provide yourself (e.g. your opinions, your feedback and the like)

The Archive only does this when the Archive has received your consent in connection with you handing over the information. The storage period may be different depending on the situation, but is always included in the consent you give at that time. 

In order to prevent abuse of services or to prevent, prevent and investigate crimes against the company, the Archive handles this information;

  • Name
  • Address, telephone number and e-mail
  • Information on returns and deliveries
  • IP number
  • Any customer notes
  • Customer service history

This processing is necessary because the Archive has a legitimate interest in preventing abuse of a service or to prevent, prevent and investigate crimes against the company. Such data or notes are saved by the Archive for as long as it is relevant in relation to what has happened, but usually no longer than 36 months.

In order to analyse, develop and improve services, products and systems, the Archive processes the following information about you;

  • Information about how you have interacted with us, e.g. how you have used the site, where and how long different pages were visited, response times, error codes, how you reach and leave the service, etc.

This makes the Archive because the processing is necessary to satisfy the Archive's legitimate interest in improving and developing the website as well as products and offers for you. The Archive does this through analysis on an aggregated level, i.e. that the analysis is general and not on an individual level. The archive saves such data as a basis for the analysis in plain text for one year from your last activity, and then the archive pseudonymises the information, which means that it is not possible to see who the data belongs to. If you were to return within two years of the Archive pseudonymizing your data, the Archive connects your data with your previous visit to the website and can thus see that you are a returning customer, and better understand how returning customers generally use the website. If, on the other hand, more than two years have passed since the Archive pseudonymised your data, the Archive can no longer link the data, and your history is empty. Should you contact us and wish to exercise your right to be deleted, the Archive will of course also not be able to retrieve any information about you.

Who can the Archive share your data with?

The archive sometimes shares information, including personal data, with certain recipients in order to carry out the processing described above. The archive never sells your data to anyone else without your permission. Those with whom the Archive may share your information are:

Service providers
In order to fulfill the purposes of processing your personal data, the Archive shares your personal data with companies that provide services to us, e.g. to manage the dispatch and delivery of your goods or to provide certain systems. These companies may only process your personal data according to express instructions and may not use your data for anything other than this.

Payment service providers
To administer payments via the website, Arkivet uses various payment service providers. The payment service provider is the data controller for its own processing of your personal data, and has separate terms and conditions that apply to them. You get information about their terms and handling of personal data when you choose which payment method you want to use on the website.

Collaborative partners
In order for Arkivet to be able to compensate partners for traffic to us that has been driven via their channels, Arkivet shares information with partners such as order number and purchase amount. The data is shared for that purpose only, and is not sold or shared further.

Other recipients
The archive may transfer your personal data to other recipients, e.g. authorities, if required by us by law. If all or part of the business is sold or integrated with another business, your personal data may be disclosed to advisers, any buyer and their advisers and passed on to the new owner of the business.

Transfers outside the EU
Some service or payment service providers may be located outside the EEA. The Archive never transfers any data outside the EEA without having taken appropriate security measures, and the Archive has legal support for the transfer through, for example, the Privacy Shield or the Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to know which personal data from you the Archive uses, through a so-called register extract. The archive wants to ensure that your personal data is correct and up-to-date, and you also have the right to have incorrect information about you corrected. If the information you provided to us changes, e.g. if you change your e-mail address, name or your payment details, just contact the Archive's contact.

On those occasions when the Archive processes your personal data based on your consent, you have the right, at any time, to withdraw your consent to the processing. You also have the right to object to certain processing, for example for purposes related to direct marketing and the sending of newsletters. Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to have your personal data deleted or blocked.
