Poster with the original drawing of Stockholm's city hall by Ragnar Östberg. With its three crowns, the building is probably the most obvious symbol in Stockholm's skyline. The interior with the Blue Hall, the Golden Hall and the Prince's Gallery is closely associated with the Nobel Party and lavish state dinners. The building has elements of Italian Renaissance, Nordic Gothic, but also Byzantine and Islamic art, and also clear features from St. Mark's Square in Venice, especially the Doge's Palace and the tower of St. Mark's Basilica. Östberg no longer had a little anxiety about what to do with the tower, only in 1919 did he land on the solution with today's iconic spire with three crowns.
