Poster with the original drawing of the iconic building. For Östermalmare (and most others) there is nothing better than spending a free afternoon strolling among the counters inside the market hall on Östermalmstorg. The building was erected in record time in 1888 by the architects Isak Gustav Clason and Kasper Salin following models on the continent. The brick and cast-iron sales hall was state-of-the-art when it was completed, lit by electric bulbs, and has been an obvious feature of city life ever since.
Creators: Isak Gustav Clason and Kasper Salin
