Poster with a map showing Gothenburg in 1809, in the middle of the Napoleonic Wars. It was the first period of prosperity for the city as large quantities of goods were smuggled through the city down to the continent. Napoleon had announced a blockade of British goods, but the blockade leaked like a sieve and one of the transit locations was Gothenburg - great wealth was created by the city's merchants. On the map you can also see that the ramparts are being demolished, part of the expansion of the increasingly important city.

About the product

Our printing paper comes from one of the world's leading manufacturers – Hahnemühle. We have chosen a matte paper of 200g per square meter, which has a structure and warm tone that gives the motifs a fantastic reproduction.

Please note that since the ratio between length and width differs depending on the size you choose, the motifs are cropped slightly differently.

Frames are not included with the posters and must be purchased separately.
