Poster with photograph showing how late much of modern Gothenburg was actually built. The meadow south of Skansen Kronan was undeveloped as late as the 20th century and had been used as a grazing bed for officers' horses since the 17th century. The picture shows how farmers load hay in the summer of 1896.
